So for everyone's information we have a few shows coming up. These will be the first with our new singer and my old buddy David Hair. Regardless of whether or not we as a band are successful, I have no doubt that Mr. Hair will be renowned before long. He has the sheer talent, relentless ambition, and amazing attitude that will sooner or later make him a star; so even if you're not too keen on the band you should still show up to be able to say in the future "I saw that guy once when he was with this group called Tony G & the Cure for Cancer. Great show."
So the shows are as follows:
Saturday Feb 27th, 2010 Sidekicks Saloon, 2695 West 92nd Ave, Denver
I think the cover is six bucks or something, but don't quote me. I've never been to this place, so I can't vouch for it personally. However, if you're in the Denver metro area and you want to check us out, it's a helluva lot better than driving up to Fort Collins to see us. We're coming to you! I think we play at 8pm, so get there at 7:30 so you can chit-chat and have a couple drinks before we rock the place.
Sunday March 7th, 2010 Hodi's Half Note, 167 N. College Ave, Fort Collins
This should be a good show. You can get tix from us or through a little company called Afton Ticketing. Go online and get them here. Hodi's is one of the best venues around, so if you have yet to visit the place it's a great opportunity. This show will be kinda like our Grand Opening, whereas the Sidekicks show is more of a soft opening to make sure all the moving parts are working. We have a little something special planned that will definitely be talked about in certain circles for this show. You might want to bring your camera for this one if you plan on blackmailing a band member in the future. I think we play on the earlier side, like 6:30 or something so you should be home in time for supper.
Friday March 26th, 2010 Dickens Opera House, 300 Main St, Longmont
Haven't been here either, but the pics I saw online look pretty sweet. We're playing with our good friends Khaos Assassin, Lovebox, and Mojo Kamikazi. I'm definitely stoked about this gig. If you like your hard rock with a side of metal this is a great lineup for you. Get there before 9pm.
